I am European and come from …

For many people, Europe today is a geographical and political great. However, together with many of the older generation, children and teenagers see their identity as limited to their native country. But, Europe is more – our similarities and differences give us the chance to take Europe in a new direction.

Through our youth projects, we at SALVE EUROPA want to bring to fruition the perception of a young, united Europe. Out of the richness of the historical experiences of their countries, the complexities of their cultures, languages and ways of life, and their visions of the future, the young people of Europe should be helped to create a unique European identity, not found anywhere else in the world.

Our wealth of nationalities and variety of peoples should be seen as a treasure. We want to make this transparent to the youth of today so that they can go forward together with pride, courage and confidence into a common European future.
